Established for a number of years Stroud Road Pharmacy is a highly successful community pharmacy based in the centre of Gloucester. Regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Society (GPhC) stroudroadpharmacy.co.uk is set up to supply NHS and private prescriptions.

Community Pharmacy Consultation Scheme ( CPCS)

The NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) launched on 29th October 2019 as an Advanced Service. The service, which replaced the NUMSAS and DMIRS pilots, connects patients who have a minor illness or need an urgent supply of a medicine with a community pharmacy.

Condom Supply

We can provide condoms for free as part of the NHS FREE Condom Supply.*

Contraception services are free and confidential, including for people under the age of 16.

If you're under 16 and want contraception, this is a confidential service and we will not inform your parents (or carer) as long as we believe you fully understand the information you're given, and your decisions.

*Only available to under 25's. Conditions apply. Please contact us for further information.

We are able to obtain your prescriptions electronically without the need for a paper copy. Simply ask your GP Surgery to nominate our pharmacy in order for your prescriptions to be transferred to us automatically.

Free Prescription Collection

Make life easier for yourself and let us order your prescription on your behalf. Simply let us know what repeat medicines you need, a few days before they run out and we will arrange to collect it from your Doctor's surgery.

Free Prescription Delivery

If you find it difficult to get to the pharmacy and you live locally you can have your prescription delivered to your door by using our Free Prescription Delivery Service. This service is open to all eligible patients in the surrounding areas, please contact us for more info.
